This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of one section of PERF/MUSC 3662.03 Introduction to Digital Audio Sound Design, from September 1 to December 31, 2023 (Fall term).

This position is responsible for teaching the concepts, language, and technology associated with digital audio sound design. The use of a digital audio workstation (Logic Pro) to create original short digital audio pieces and knowledge on how audio is presented in performances and events using theatrical cueing software (Q-Lab) and sound reinforcement systems. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, in Music or any other relevant discipline; proven experience in the creative and aesthetic aspects of music technology as well as a successful teaching record in this field. Please apply online, with a copy of your curriculum vitae and a cover letter.
