Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for teaching INDG 3050.03: Indigenous Research Methods, an in-person class to be held on Tuesday/Thursday, 11:35am-12:55pm (Winter Term 2024) at the Studley Campus of Dalhousie University. Online delivery may be an option.

The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including preparing and delivering lectures, marking student assignments, development of course content on Brightspace, and submitting grades. In addition to course time, the instructor is required to hold two office hours per week for consultation with students. The instructor reports to the Indigenous Studies program Coordinator.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Applicants should identify as Indigenous; must have experience conducting insider community-based research with Indigenous peoples; be familiar with Indigenous research practices, and with Chapter 9 of the Tri-Council Policy Statement on Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (2018). Possession of TCPS2 or similar certification is an asset.
Salary Range/Pay Rate $6,478.00 (inclusive of 6% vacation pay and benefits) for the Winter 2024 semester, in accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
