About the Organization | The Giacomantonio Laboratory at Dalhousie University conduct experiments modeling novel immune-modulating agents in murine models. Our research also involves a comprehensive analysis of tumor microenvironments from patients in our research program. We customize treatment strategies based on individual tumor immunology, metabolic, and epigenetic profiles. By integrating this data with selective systems analysis, we develop personalized treatment plans. |
Job Summary | Reporting to the Principal Research Scientist, the Research Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting these research activities, including data collection and analysis, maintaining laboratory equipment, and handling lab animals. They will ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory, assist in the execution of experiments, and contribute to the advancement of our research objectives. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our scientific investigations. |
